An open bench
What we aim for
Every page should work with a keyboard, read sensibly in a screen reader, and stay usable at two hundred per cent zoom on a phone. Headings describe real sections, buttons say what they do, and nothing important is carried by colour alone.
Images and text
Product photographs carry descriptions that say what the part is, not what file it came from. Body text runs at a comfortable size with real contrast against the page, and we do not use animation that moves on its own.
Where we know we fall short
Technic part names are dense by nature — tooth counts, part numbers, radius figures — and they do not always read gracefully aloud. We are steadily rewriting the worst of them into plain sentences.
Tell us
If a page fights you, write to the parts desk with the address and what happened. A short description of what you expected is enough, and fixes of this kind go to the front of the queue.
