On the bench

Gears get the attention and pins do the work. This set covers the quiet half of a technic build: axles in the short lengths that always run out first, friction pins and frictionless pins kept distinct, stop bushes, half bushes, and the steering linkage parts that turn a front axle into something that actually points where you want it. Nothing in here is glamorous and all of it is the reason a model holds its shape when you pick it up.

How it behaves in a build

We like this one as a second purchase after a gear pack, because the two together cover almost every mechanical problem a builder meets in the first year.
